||CAN-Tanzania is a National Network of climate change and environmental NGOs formed and registered in 2011 with determinations to alert, mobilize, advocate and empower the Tanzanian community to collectively raise the National voice on climate change debate and take informed action in reducing anthropogenic activities that lead to harmful climate change and promoting mitigation activities against climate change.
CAN-TANZANIA works through scientific research based findings so as to take informed action towards reducing the impact and vulnerability of climate change. Thus, CAN-TANZANIA members work through information sharing and coordinated strategy to promote global, regional, government and individual actions to tackle climate change issues in the country so that the present and future generations can sustainably benefit from rejuvenated conducive climate.
